Barry, if you are serious I would suggest you do a bit more research into Carpet Cleaning. You'll certainly be in all sorts of trouble if you proceed the way you intend.
Look through the posts in the CC section just for starters.

Just use your hoses, when the dirt rubs off of them on the carpet your can charge the a again for cleaning ;D
-
This is a wind up right????????
Next thing you'll see is one of the carpet cleaning lads turning up and spraying the windows with their wands.
If it isn't a wind up stick to window cleaning mate; you'll be paying a fortune out in compensation otherwise lol!!!!!

Is it April already ;)

Barry your on the right lines but save your pure water we just connect up to the outside tap and hose the carpets down, there are many carpet cleaning detergents available on the market but we find a bottle of fairy liquid usually creates a good lather after first thoroghly wetting the carpet. A quick going over with the gutter vac usually brings the carpets up a treat.
And remeber NEVER use your scraper blade on a dry carpet.
-
Heyup Bazzer, best way to clean carpets is to use your backpack, boil your kettle, fill backpack with steam, switch backpack on and brush steam into the pile with your dt mono bobs your uncle ;)
-
I dont think the carpets get as wet if you use trad and i think the customers prefer it.
-
ive truly seen it all now!! no wonder custies think windies are all deadheads!!!!!!!!!!
-
Simbo ya beat me to it,I`ve just about read and seen everything now.
Not unless Barry is asking about backpacks etc.and got his post `mixed

got my first custy , just out in the drive talking to a neighbour .so went and give him a price , gonna do it monday as it looks like a wash out for the windows. just one question there was a lot of dog muck rubbed in whats the best stuff for getting it up .cheers barry :D

Easy: spray a couple of gallons of paraffin all over. Chuck a match and stand clear. When the ash cools down, hoover it all up. Nice clean floors (unless they're the timber suspended type) and everything sterilised so no nasty dog poo bacteria to upset delicate tummies.
-
failing that, shoot the dog, skin it and use it as a rug
-
Dog poope is easy, just soften it with pure water first, agitate and rinse, rinse, rinse.
-
barry, just do it trad ;D
-
Barry, theres a big carpet cleaning contract up for grabs on the CC section , i've put your name forward for it ,I'll gladly accept 10% for my troubles.
-
Don`t be tempted to "brush and rush" and definitely don`t "slurry and hurry",if you do the job right you`ll have a full round in about 14 years.
-
LOL to the posters who cant see a joke infront of their eyes
-
wot you gonna use to suck up the dirty water barry or need i ask
-
Barry, go for the van mount system mate. Rip out the carpet and lob it in the van mount industrial washing machine, 40 degrees should do it. then hang it over the customers car to dry out, pop back a little late to refit.
Sorted ;D

How can anybody possibly even begin to think Barry is being serious? ;D ;D

I do carpet cleaning as well; I'm self taught too. I just watched the woman in the Shake 'n' Vac advert over and over again, got myself some of that wonderful product, a decent Ewbank and I was up and running.
Dog muck is easy- follow the wine method: if you spill red wine, soak it in white wine. So, if a carpet is covered in dog muck, apply white dog muck to it. Job's a good 'un.

Just flipping hilarious , thanks for making my sides hurt ;D ;D ;D
