Hi and Merry Christmas.
I have an Ionic Pro5 system which works superbly but I am wasting water because I live in a soft water area and should use di only. Could I take the filters off the existing system and replace with same sized di vessels, two of them? {in the existing rack}.
I could then fill the tank much quicker and filter on the way out thru the two di tanks.

Cant see why not, your converting it from a Pro5 to a Pro3. Sure if you ring em they can explain how to do it as you can go from a Pro3 to a Pro5 why not vice versa

I think you'd be mad to do this.   

I had been DI'ing water through 2X19lt vessells for the last 5 years it got to the stage where I was using a sack of Tulsion resin every 3 weeks equating to £100 per month, and tht's with TDS of 35.

If I was you, and like you say your TDS is low, I'd RO your water with a merlin or the sort to get the water down to 0 and use that.
