ok just looking at one now but want to know do they eat Diesel ??

I get about 400 to 430 miles per tank roughly about 60 quid to fill that's carrying a 500lt tank and the usual extras. That's a lwb 90ps
-
that is very am doing the same with a 500 lt tank in one. :)

Most vans are pretty much the same, if they was that bad fords wouldn't of released it! All I know is they're are a proper van compared to their competitors and my t220 90ps carries 650 litres nicely so no more going back to yard to get more water to finish off a days work, which in turn uses more diesel! And no its not overloaded its at its Max at the beginning of every day! Best little van for domestic in my eyes, like having a tank on wheels

whats the payload of this van ? and what size pole can you get inside it ?
-
Why up so early? ;D
-
We run a Lwb hi-roof connect, with a 500l system. Could easy squeeze 650 in and still have plenty of space.
Fuel wise, I don't monitor it. We do stop start driving all day so whatever we have will be poor.
Payload is 900kg from memory.

I have bought the swb version, this at the mo is empty. I put £40 that half filled it and it's done 105 miles on half of it.
I thought you had a connect rob?
-

Have you tried it fully laden with you in it on a weighbridge?
650l of water will take you over the limit unless you carry little gear and no ladders. Will be way over if you have a passenger.
-
Yes they do drink diesel and it did'nt help me that I had a 500 litre tank in the back, glad I got shot of it,was the biggest heap of rubbish I ever purchased
-
dd, yes took it to weighbridge and got it certificated (basically, date, time, reg and weight) tank was completely full to brim and just over half tank of diesel and it weighed 2200 kg. Its absolute Max! It never gets over half a tank of diesel and filled just under the full 650, don't carry hardly anything else extra basically a tank on wheels, excactly how I want it to be.
-
That is good to know. I would be overweight as I carry ladders. My dispatch with the same payload is on the limit with just under 600l. (It is a custom tank and takes just under 600l).
-
Anything with a turbo will be heavier on fuel if you drive it hard.

I've got the T230 Lwb and as regards poles, I carry the CLX 18 which fits real easy (of course) and the SLX 25 & 35 which just fit across the top of the van lengthways from the back doors to the bulkhead, I just have to angle the SL brush heads downwards that's all..... happy days ;D
