I bought the above off Frankybadboy on here a few months back but i havent used it much as ive decided to go DI only as my water has dropped back down to a low tds and im on a meter.
Its 3 years old and a pure freedom system, ive changed two filters on it and the water is coming out at less than 10 so a very good system. Also has a 10 inch DI filter, only downside is the pressure gauge doesnt work but you can get these for less that a tenner.
Im also selling a big booster pump as well .
Postage for both is extra, photos can be provided if you send me you e-mail

Hi
Just wondered........is DI as good as RO, ie fine for water fed pole cleaning, also does it work out much cheaper on the water as i'm on a metre too.
Thanks
-
you use di water once you have the tds levels low enough, i have water at 60-70 tds now so its not worth me using an ro as you create a lot of waste water. This ro will get your water levels right down if your in a hard water area and then the di polishes it off to 000 tds, a lot depends on your tds level out of the tap.

hi ste ow much u looking for
got a m8 whose wanting a decent ro ;)

mke me an offer gav, i dont bite ;D dont text me now though do it in the a.m as im off to bed in a sec

It doesn't make sense, if your water is at 60-70 then surely after Ro you should get it low enough to not need di? It'll be cheaper to pay for water on a metre than it will for resin, especially if your putting water in that high!!!!!! Maybe you need to think about keeping it!

It does make sense actually. If I'm using a ro then I'm not using 100% of the water from my tap as I also create waste. I go through 1 bag of resin every 6 months at the moment as appose to creating around 50% waste of water. My water bills work out more if I use an ro compared to a di only as I'm lucky that my water is soft. If my water was over 100 then yes it may work out cheaper but at the moment it isn't and its unlikely to change again so soon so I'm selling to help fund me buying a gutter vac, simple.

How much water do you use each day?

How much water do you use each day?
Who are you the water police? ;D
-
Ro sold :D

Was just curious as your tds in is over 10 times what mine is!
-
what so your tds from the tap is less than 7???????????????????????
-
No my tds from tap is 350, after Ro 7
-
my tds AFTER the ro is less than 10? i never said it was 60-70 after, i said it was 60-70 out of the tap, the one on my wall that is ;D
-
I know what you said, I don't see how its still about 10 after Ro, thought it would be as low as 2 or 3, that's why I then suggested you wouldn't need resin at all if you could make it that low.

i clean with pure water, i dont clean with water thats 7 or similar if i can help it, if i use and ro then i create waste water, im on a meter and all the water i use i pay for so im not willing to pay for stuff that im flushing down the drain. I prefer to use di only as 1. its cheaper. 2. its instant so it means i dont have to leave my static running 24 hours a day and therefore i also save electricity as i dont have my pump running ;D

Do you realise that a high water bill will be classed as a running cost? It's tax deductable mate.

yes i do but you cant claim back 100% of it though
