A regular customer of mine, Childs illustrater called Alex T Smith (check out his work, great for the kids), knocked up a fantastic package of signed books and stickers, xmas card etc for the kids today.

Best tip ever, I was the worlds greatest dad when I got home ;)

top bloke, anyone with kids needs to check out his books, my kids love them

Gotta say I miss been a postie when it comes to tips, could easily triple your wages at xmas

double booked a job on thursday, didn't even remember having it so when he called 10 minutes after i was supposed to arrive, having driven for 1.5 hours to get to house he was ped to hear i forgot and couldn't get there until late in evening (he had moved out so completely empty house). got there just the lounge to do, took me 40 odd minutes, got minimum charge then he gave me £20 tip! best tip so far and i was well happy considering how terrible a start we had. might double book more often :D

I've had a nice bottle of red and that's about it.

Last week was the most financially rewarding of the year for me I have an ever expanding group of old fogies that book me for jobs all around the same 3 roads every 2nd week in December my food intake trebles with all of the tea, coffee, mince pies and other delicious food they shower upon me and every single one gives me a tip some more than others but on the week it's a tidy sum, one nice widower who likes to talk football with me gave me a nice bottle of whisky he doesn't know that I don't drink but it'll make a nice present for someone (may be one of the kids)
