Can anyone help?
I use a Clarke CBM240E Booster Pump for my RO. It has been completely reliable since new. Just this week it has started playing up.
Simply put- it switches on and pumps for a second then stops, on off, on off. Thats it. I've checked all connections, it's not electrical, can't see how it could have an air lock.
I just thought I'd post it on here to see if anyone else has had the same type of problem and knows what it might be?

Is there anything else in the system you have altered? Hose-wise, I mean.

That pump has an electronic control board, it sounds like it is this thats faulty.

No9 nothing altered in 6 years.
I think it may be the electronics too.

I too use this pump, I had to dump the last one for the very same fault you describe.

Don't be panicked into getting rid.
What can you eliminate to test the pump?
I've had mine a bit longer than you, and mine's been fine, bar once or twice it stopped working, but that was down to some dodgy hose kink or something I hadn't seen. The alert lights came on. I straightened things out, re-booted it and it's been fine ever since. An excellent booster pump, IMO.

It sound like to much pressure building up in the system and the pressure switch in the pump switching off and restarting when the pressure drops coming in to play.I don't think it the pump but the R O or flow controller playing up.Maybe your flow control on your R O is blocked.

Thanks for a few suggestions guys. I'll have another fiddle with it tomorrow.
Will let you know if I get it working.
