how many cones do you guys use for residential work got to order some but im not sure how many to get ???
-
I've got 2 which is usually more than enough for me.
-
thanks for the reply mate wasn't sure how many i would need and i wanted to order them today
-
I have 3, only cus I wanted more than 1, and could get 3 for price of 2!
good choice getting cones......IMO better than signs. 2 would prob do but they are stackeable and handy if you want some on both sides of street.
-
Never bothered with cones on residential myself :-\
-
as mine are mostly in housing estates, I usually trail over paths etc. I don't worry to much, but good to be seen to be 'taking precautions', lol. :-\
-
i have 2 and used them all the time when i started, now they are in the garage collecting dust and have been for over a year
-
I just have one and leave it next to the reel to warn passers by.at least if anyone tried to sue for a trip you have a warning sign in bright yellow!! ;D
-
I was told by a local wc that when he was cleaning shop windows using wfp somone tried to claim because he tiped over the cone.
We live in a compensation culture. :-\
-
if yr worker is anything like mine
get loads as e leaves em all over
the place , im still looking for my last 2 >:( >:(
;D ;D
-
ordered 3 and will be getting some stickers done by wcw £1.80 each with logo contact number and website ;D ;D
-

-
I get mine off the motorway.

Tripping over the trip hazard sign, ironic.
I have two but 99.9% of the time I only need one for residential. Can't even remember when I had two out.
-
i dont bother with them
-
I use one or two on res. But one factory I have I use 4.
-
Dont bother either. If they're stupid enough to trip over a bright yellow hose then they're not going to pay attention to a warning sign anyhow

Same.....just one
-
i have 2 but also have trip hazzord stickers on the back doors of the van
-
I have four of those heavier yellow ones and two orange and whitecones. If that,s not enough, I have a couple of those "wet floor" signs too. I do have a couple of jobs where I need all of these too. However, most of the time I only use one. That's where the pipe that joins the van with the reel crosses the footpath. I also put a rubber mat over it.
