Yes it was a slog today. Would have packed it in easily if I didnt know its only a matter of time before the really bad weather hits the south. Got a week of no pay coming up in a couple of weeks so got to keep making the money now while I still can. Going to have an early night tonight, maybe more motivated in the morning.

A week of NO pay can turn into many weeks if you push when you shouldn't.....

Respect the weather & conditions at all times! Will your custies thank you for working in poope weather?

Rob.

very windy here but not bad enought to stop me earning! lincolnshire area BTW. just hold on to the pole and push it firm against the window when a big gust comes, might be a bit much if your working above 2nd floor (3 storeys) though

I am actually feeling a bit ill at the moment, nothing serious, just the usual bug type of thing, but the cold really got into my bones yesterday. So much so that I was a bit shivery by the time I got home. But an early night last night  and an easier day today should be OK. I am going to see Bryan Adams at the O2 tonight with my son so that will be a late night.

i just think of the poor scottish window cleaners!9 times out of 10 the weather is worse there than here in manchester.

i think i would seriously look at another part time job to supplement the window cleaning if i worked in some parts of scotland!also you have the license to pay for and generally lower prices per job.

look at downtime as a time to recharge the batteries,do what you like doing whether its swimming, running, reading a good book, watching a movie or spending time with friends and family.

always build up an emergency fund throughout the year to dip into if you have to during spells of extreme weather to pay bills or going out and enjoying yourself!

it can be frustrating not earning as like most of you i dont like losing money but i just accept its part and parcel of running a window cleaning business from time to time.
