Since I've been using hot, my hose now expands and so is harder to unreel and so keeps falling over whilst pulling the hose.
Getting really irritating-i have a Pure Freedom 100m reel which is lifted in and out of the van top connect to external ports
Any suggestions appreciated. Ta

I use these http://www.caravangroup.co.uk/product_desc.php?id=5042 to hold the reel to a square of plywood

i drilled a total of 8 holes,4 to each base of the reel and used large size plastic ties so you end with 2 ties to each base i have extra long hose from the pump to the reel so if i need to place the reel outside of the van i can just lift the reel and board in one go

I also turned the legs round on the reel. It never falls over now but every now and then I catch my nuckles on the ground. Arrrrghh :'(

i feel yer pain :(

Fix them to the van floor, best thing you will ever do. Saves time, saves money on repairs from tugging the reel down the road, and most importantly, saves your back!

Our back pack switch protectors, I'm told work fantastic to hold a reel down in the back of a van.
