Title: short battery charge
Post by: matthewprice on December 05, 2011, 06:26:02 pm: hi i was wondering if any of you lads have any advice .i have a shurflo pump/ varistream/ and 110 battery in one van. only set varistream at 3,i was using an 85 amp battery as it was not lasting i put in a 110 , in my other van i have a similar set up and i only charge it up every 15 days thanks

Post by: matthewprice on December 06, 2011, 03:05:46 pm: i charge it over night charger shows a green light as fully charged 85amp was 6 month old 110amp battery 1 week old,i cant check battery but the charger is fully charging the other van to 13.2

I have a decent intelligent smart charger, but charge over weekend at 2 amps (charger capable up to 8amp) and has lasted 2 years nearly and counting...

Post by: Klean07 on December 07, 2011, 03:57:01 am: I find the longer the charge the longer the battery lasts. From a full weekend charge I normally get at least two weeks before putting spare one on.
