Title: Glides slotted or holed or lips
Post by: brianbarber on December 04, 2011, 08:32:30 pm
Hi guys

What's going to give best performance, glides with holes or slots?
Or wand lips?

Any experience be really appreciated

I always use the holed glides it forces me to hoover properly before cleaning and not to be lazy and use the wand as a hoover as it would just block the holes anyway. Once you can get your head round the idea of not having a complete open vac slot i feel they dry the carpet quicker and a glide in general is a lot easier on the back etc.

i found the wand lips to be crap, the lips pulled together and stopped the suction in the middle of the wand.

I use a slotted glide.

Thanks guys

Slotted or holes, it seems there's no definitive answer , but slotted means if no pre vac is done then no blocked holes.....
So maybe the slottedismtheone to go for.

Whilst you're at it, order a new space bar Brian :D :D  (or is the screen of your iPad a bit sticky there for some reason ;) )

Billy, get a 575 if you want but you'll still not have a bigger blower than me! ;D
