im often climbing over locked gates , i split my ladder and climb up one side and put the other half over and climb down.it can get hairy tho so iv been thinking of a safer way
to make up what looks like a big step ladder ,about 7 ft tall, to put over the top of the gate ,so i can walk up 1 side and then down the other . just an idea at the mo
what do you reck ?

what's going to stop the feet slipping away when your at the top as steps have a brace to stop that happening
but you wont be able to have a brace as the gate will be in the way ???
rather you than me

Be ok if you can then utilise the ladder for your clean, if not will be a pain in the backside humping a big stepladder about..

i was thinking of making the same thing, but never got around to it, i just use a 2 step ladder and climb over it

I just run up, stick the pole in a crack in the pavement and pole-volt right over. Got quite good at it too. Last time I only had concussion for 3 minutes.

im thinking about getting two 2m point ladders and put them in the van save getting the ladders off the top every time ;D ;D

ive got a cheaper idea tell the customer from the start that if they have got gates to make sure they are open on the day or they will have to pay full amount if if not open, or arange safe place for a key thats what i do, simples
