or you can use the anti-slip floor paint, just as good

http://www.anti-slip-paint.co.uk/antislip-floor-paint-c-17.html?osCsid=c3d640ecd2000f5e954503dccbe4e71f

and the easiest way to prepare the floor of your van is by cleaning it, dry it then spray this on

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_170745_langId_-1_categoryId_165625

a medium size van will take no longer than an hour.

thats what we did - 5 years ago and all still good.

I changed my van last week and did look round for protektacote but I needed 5 ltrs for a transit lwb. In the end I just took the ply floor out and used the waxoyl from Wayside adhesives and then put the ply back in. I also sealed the bulkhead base and the edges of the ply with seam sealer. The bursting disc on my jetter burst today and the cab carpet stayed dry which it never did on my last van
