I would like to thank these guys who run the site for understanding,
I signed up to this company, while in hospital and with my health,
when new updates came from consultants, new work for me may become a problem and Nationwide refunded all my money with a immediate effect, no questions asked the money was returned.
Thanks Guys

I've got mixed feelings. It could be a great idea.
I tried to sign up on the website on the last day of the cheaper trial but it wouldn't let me. I phoned up one of the numbers (for window cleaning enquiries) and left a voicemail message that I hoped would be passed on to the right person/people but no-one ever got back to me. I suspect that the number I rang is only for potential window cleaning customers and that the message wasn't passed on.
Not to worry. It's not as if I'm scraping around for work.

well i have signed up as i thought for 25 or 30 quid or whatever it was it was worth a punt though i am not confident that i will get any work from it ... the reason? regardless of how high up the google search result page that you come you are a directory listing that people have to fill in their details to be contacted , rather than be given your phone number / email for them to contact. When i am looking for a service on google i skip the directories and certainly never fill my details in and wait to be contacted , im looking for a numer/email to contact to speak to the business direct. Im not convinced , Huw/Charlie why not have the window cleaners details/link to their website on each minisite so the customer can be in control and contact their local window cleaner direct? i think it would definately lead to more enquiries.

Hi Matt,
The website is an open book at the moment...getting enough guys involved is the main factor in the success of the site to start with. We are only in Phase 1 of the project at the moment, there is a lot more to come.
The reason for not displaying every companys individual contact details is so we do not appear to be "just another directory" to joe public. Also we want to be able to monitor the amount of enquiries that go through the system so that we have an idea as to how successful the site is as a whole and to each of you.
However, I do agree that we would probably up our response rate if we could list direct contact details on the site which Charlie and I have been discussing this week. We may have come up with an answer...
Appreciate the feedback....the biggest problem we have at the moment is that a lot of the enquiries coming through the site are going to waste as we don't yet have a team in the area.
Cheers,
Huw

My last post probably sounded like I was being sarcastic - I genuinely wasn't, honest - I'm glad you bothered to contact me personally and I'm pleased with my little bit on the site - if owt comes up within 25/30 miles or so of me don't hesitate to ask :)
