It is about time that they realised that business was being choked by poorly implemented H&S rules.

Indeed, the burden of proof is lighter in a civil case than in a criminal one.

I would agree, but reading that link does say they want WAHD clarified, and that can only be good

Well we do pose a risk to the public, falling poles, ladders, tool etc, they will never stop the WAHR, its the stupid ones like banning royal wedding street parties etc

Post by: JSMC on November 28, 2011, 11:15:19 pm: insurance companies have a massive say in regulations. there are 2 times per year that updates to H&S are allowed. These are posted on HSE site for everyone to see.

H&S is a good subject but is normally ruined by people inserting every fail safe they can think of to cover themselves. It's all about interpreting the regs correctly and managing them.
