Woooo there hard to Please these lot on here aren't they ;D
-
Not hard, just alloy adds weight even at low level - i ended up on dihydracodine because of an alloy pole and all the poles ive owned that had twist locks broke after a few months use (the twist locks broke)

Are you sure they are Alloy? They don’t look like Alloy.

You guys don't listen. The bottom section of the pole is made of fibreglass; the rest is carbon fibre.
-
I also like to work with an external pole hose; but the guy demonstrating it obviously hasn't got the knack of doing it. He's probably a better salesman than a window cleaner.
It looks like a decent enough pole to me.
-
Videos about water fed poles are all exactly the same. Bloke shows pole, says it brilliant in that 'this is unique' type of way, bloke cleans window with it. The end.
Now if it was me, I get scantily clad young ladies to demonstrate it. At least it'd be worth watching.
-
Tosh thats why i said even at low levels - why put an alloy base on a carbon fibre pole ???
And as you know tosh ... any pole can have the hose external... thats nothing new with this pole is it really

But how about this ,10 years warranty , :D I wonder if Alex Gardiner can match that one ;)

Probably the same guarentee as brodex offer ... and we all know about that one dont we
-
that video is a good demonstration on how to waste water,

the thing that puts me off twist locks is that unless each lock is tight, you can't put the next section down because it just rotates in the section below.

You just hold the section below in your hand and twist the upper section. Haven't you ever used the old Unger Monster aluminium pole (I can't remember it's name); or even the Harris?
-
yes I have but it means stopping each section about 6 inches before fully retracted to shorten the next section, then once you've done the lot you're left with a pole about 2ft closed length longer than you want.
