Yep All comes down to basic common sense ;)
-
Well it sure ain't common sense to pull back with one hand while keeping your back straight and " the handle is for positioning " really ? I adjust the " position "of the handle for comfort when using the wand and while it's occasionally pulled back with one hand, eg, when wanding under a snooker table or similar, my left hand is on the handle when working, not pressing down or forcing in any way, just spreading the load on the back muscles
The timing of trigger depressing / releasing is fine but the body mechanics is wrong.

my first thoughts were how can you teach how to use a wand in just over a minute, then i think he misses some obvious points that jump out.
the pressure he is using....... it must be over 600psi , way too high and the wand seals on the carpets. its as if the T/m has been turned off..... he should have addressed/ mentioned the lack of airflow that the carpet has created and how the wand angle should have been altered.
this might seem like nit-picking but this is Jeff Cross ( I think) on the Cleanfax website, not some home made video. if they are going to make a video on how to use a wand then it should be more well thought out

I don't think it's nit picking to point out misinformation or potentially dangerous practice.

Quick pat down. Which side of your body hurts the most. The one you wand with?
Like the idea of swapping over but it don't feel natural.

Yeah, but if you use your other hand it feels like someone else is doing it.
No, wait...
