Title: carpet with chocolate drink stain
Post by: wayne zabel on November 25, 2011, 03:28:42 pm
Doing a carpet next week that I cleaned last year - the clients husband used to be a CC but gave up due to getting a very well paid job.

Anyway called me again today and asked to book job in again but told me they have a week old stain caused by a Hot Chocolate drink.

Any tips on this,my initial action will be Stainpro but anything else worth a try.Its an awkward situation with him having been a CC and I would like to make a good impression.

Its a beige 80/20.

Flush with cold water, apply MPower / Nemesis Leave 10 mins and rinse again.
Failing that wayne try Stain Pro.
Make sure you use cold water in Sprays and Tank.
Do you have and sod met just incase?

Treat it as a coffee stain, chemspec do Browning treatment which has a reducing agent already in it, it's not as powerful as the more neat stuff but it comes ready to use.

Chocolate = fat, grease and protein. Enzall will deal with this stain very easly.

If it landed on the carpet piping hot then it'll be trickier to remove. Time to rock the sod mets bro.
