Had to borrow a neighbours outside tap for a gutter clean and told him I would clean his windows as a thank you, he told me thats OK they were cleaned yesterday. Well blow me the frames and cills were absouloutly filthy and the front door not touched I am amazed that any windy cleaner could leave a job like this.
Do traditional cleaners only do the glass and not give the cills a quick wipe even if really dirty?
Not having a go at trad cleaners just surprised the custy accepts the job.

yes, if they want cills and frames it is extra
-
Stayed at a friends over the weekend - her window frames and sills were minging - she pays £6 for a little 2bed semi - says she's never noticed the state of them before and she's not that fussed! Can't believe it - I bet she's not the only one who's not that bothered
-
wouldn't bother me either, in fact I wouldn't care if my windows were cleaned or not
-
mine get cleanes once a year if they need or not :)
-
Always did the cills. Frames were extra, but sometimes couldnt help myself, job looks so good when the frames are done too.
Thats one thing i love about wfp.....
-
Yep, cills everytime frames extra, will sometimes give them a wipe if they are minging though.
-
Frames cills and doors everytime, no extra charge. What's the point in leaving them. Although the state some cleaners leave the windows in is unbelievable, Maybe I've got ocd or my prices reflect the excellent quality of my work. :)

Frames and cills every time.
What is a window? To me it includes the whole lot.
If you ordered new windows from Everest or any other window firm and they turned up with just the glass, what would you say?
Come on guys, whether trad or WFP let's raise the standard, we all expect good service from companies we use so why can't we offer the same.
Rant over.

I have a window cleaner do mine 8)!!!!!!!!! THE BONES lol !!!!!!!

Don't know many trad cleaners who do frames, wfp makes sense. Customers know this and pay extra when they want frames done
-
Filthy work but has to be done often to avoid such mess. :)

i am trad and frames and sills are always cleaned its part of the job thats a window frame sill and glass so you clean it all
