Send letters to pubs, clubs, cinemas, bingo halls etc
Drive round the industrial estates and ask to speak to the facilities manager, offer your services or simply hand a compliments slip to the receptionist.
Be prepared to wait a month or 2 for payment or offer 10% discount if they pay within 7 days by bacs.

guys   building a decent amount of comm work does take time and effort .  there is an awfull lot out there but its an extremely price driven sector in most cases.  sometimes this can be the hardest and least rewarding work you will do .

after a few years i have a fairly decent portfolio of customers on the commercial side many of the regulars have come to me rather than i have approached them .  Mostly through the web .

Many cc business s market hard when times are slow  i believe in consistant marketting all year round .  its better to have a decent cash flow than dramatic peaks and troughs .

Jamie

Your first port of call should be who you know (never what you know)

Family members can be a good resource (thank you the Gribble clan even if you are third removed but your family)

Another resource is the wife yes wife ::) (wife into horses one of her friends down at the stables I met the other week :o husband is an area director for a pub group you never know

Hope this helps! Have got some others one of them to do with scaffolding all you need is tenacity and a TM a must  ;)
