Hi chaps, I know quite a few of you have gutter Vacuums and I need to ask a question regarding the hose side of it. I need a hose to reach about 7-8m in height and I'd like to connect it to my SLX for now if the weight is ok, or I'd like to know the weight of the solid tube sections to the same height.
I'm working on a little project at the moment and need to test things first, so I'd like to know where I can get the hose first for the best price, then if it's successful I might consider the solid sections.
The only other thought I have is to pop down my local dump and collect a few old vacuum hoses from the bin, if I can find a way to join them all up for testing purposes :)
Anyone help?

If you search on ebay for 50mm vacuum hose, or whatever size you need there's a couple of suppliers.
I was thinking of extending my hose too, for cleaning roof gulleys & troughs etc

I use sl2 section instead of hose, they are a lot lighter and easier to handle

Have not made one myself but researched DIY vacuums a couple of days ago. Couple of pointers here for you if it helps
Polarbrite do cuffs (50mm to 38mm). polarbrite.co.uk - try accessories page
gotland.co.uk do metal cuffs
good luck
