Title: Google adwords (only a bit different)

I thought I'd knock up some picture ads for Google Adwords the other night, as I had an adwords account with a couple of quid sitting in it.

Anyway, as I just went to close one of the CIU windows I had open, I noticed that it was in the banner space above ^^

I had always assumed this was powered by sponsors' ads, not Google ads?

Has anyone else had any experience of Google adwords picture ads?

Are you meaning banner ads advertised through Google adwords ???

I have run loads of campaigns with them

What do you need to know and ill try and help ??

Hi Scott, I don't really need help, I was just curious as to how effective people had found them vs ordinary adwords?

Ive advertised various products and services with banner ads and they can be cheap and effective ive found if your advertising a products or service thats worldwide or even nationwide. the larger the area the better it works.

Its a bit harder to make them work effectively for a small local area. You can also with the banner ads select for example what forums or sites you want the ads to appear on so if for example you had a site in mind you wanted them to show up on then that might be useful for you
