Title: Adding Extraction
Post by: Phil @ Extreme Clean on November 22, 2011, 08:01:53 pm
Well everyone should know that i only use DRY FUSION but i do own a Rug Doctor which i only use to Extract when cleaning Stairs or upholstery but i want to have extraction as another option as bonneting is good most of the time but not on all jobs so i just ordered a Carpet Wand for the rug doctor and some Pure fusion will this be ok till i can afford to invest in a better setup??? this is presuming i prespray with pure fusion let dwell then extract with warm water???

If you are going to do it i would do it right.
You can get a good second hand unit, twin vac 135psi for example for about £600
Or maybe get a new one on lease and put it against your tax bill mate

The only thing is mark i have no funds to buy another unit so am just using what's at my disposle at the moment i will prob only use it 10% of the time as dry fusion usually is ok that's all i've used for the past 2 years but sometimes i think a different approach than dry fusion is needed so will just try rug doctor for the moment as thats there to be used with the carpet wand i just ordered, I wouldn't even dream of using the brushes to clean the carpet lol if i get this club i'm gonna quote i'm gna try the extraction just for practice and to see the results.

Cheers Phil.

Problem is people see rug doctors in supermarkets, post offices, DIY shops etc so you won't look great turning up with one. Maybe disguise it  ;)

Ive used dry fusion myself and i think once you have a go with a decent hwe unit you will sell the DF.

You are only based 40 mins from me, i have a Powermax sat in the lockup collecting dust, had recent vacs and pump serviced,
Why dont you take it on a 2 week trial and see what you think.
If you like it you can have it for £500, you can give me £100 a month if you wish.

Ready to go, twin jet wand and 25 ft hoses included.
Least if you dont rate it you have lost nothing, you can get a feel for the different equipment.

Mighty generous offer from Mark there.
The Prochem Powermax is what we refer to as the transit van of the carpet cleaning world.
A perfect machine to get you started.

Mark's in the Christmas spirit, bite his hand off.  :)

You will have far more flexibility with a HWE unit as well and will pay for itself in no time.

Hi Phillip

Before you leave this posting, since it appears you've mainly used the rotary system in the past, what's it like for domestics ? I'm having the opposite thoughts to you, in that a heated rotary could be on my wish list.

Regards

Sorry for the late reply i think the machine is great for domestics that's all iv'e used for the last 2 years never had a complaint but had jobs which i thought would of been better HWE but like i say the customer has always been happy.

Cheers Phil.
