Just done a Clean which i do every 3 months and it takes me 4-5 hours and i charge £300 all carpet tiles i never measure anything just go by eye, But when i finished today i thought i would measure all the job and it came to 517 m2 so around 58p per m2 like i say i'm happy with this and think it's a fair price although some of you have said charge between £2-£4 per m2 no way would i get this job if my prices were that high what you think guys bump up my prices and see what happens or if i'm happy carry on???
I also just measured a club upstairs and it comes to 227 m2 i was thinking £1.50p per m2 = £340.50p but i think they will jump in there skin when i tell them the price what you think probably take me 2-3 hrs and thats just prespraying and bonneting using DRY FUSION no gettin chuddy up and no real blacktop just drink spills if it comes out it comes out if not it stays there i'm not trying diff chems on diff stains it's 1 clean using Activator and that's it i will spot here and there What you think????

I always charge £2.00 SQ MTR on commercial jobs and get about 80% of them.
58p is way too cheap mate imo but if you are happy then thats all that matters at the end of the day.

i guess you are not doing another job on the same day so you are getting £300 for an easy days work, not brilliant but not an amount to be laughed at either.
if this is regular work i wouldn't rock the boat by asking for more.
-
i understand what your saying mark and i would love £2 per m2, I'd of just made over a grand for a mornings work lol but £300 sounds mint to me for morning when i used to work for £50 day probably only use £15-£20 worth of chems but i think i'm gonna start measuring everything commercial from now on and price accordingly i just don't want to lose the work when i'm struggling to get it in.

£60 an hour is pretty good especially if
it's only Dry Fusion.
Would have gone in @ £1.30 and taken
it steady at 2 days but with HWE.

Any thing over about 100m2 , I would charge around £1 a metre bonnetting , still very very good money , regular contracts like this make it all worth while.

Exactly what i was thinking mark.

i agree Jason so i think £1 per m2 is my quote on the 227 m2 they'll prob knock me to £200 but for 2-3 hrs work mint.

Phil, I don't think anyone is going to go through the hassle of clicking on all those attachments!
What you can do is upload your pics to tinypic.com, then use the codes to insert them into your post.

Its not bad money phill that you earnt for that commercial job..
I do a fair amount of commercial and i usually go on how long the job will take me in most cases..
-
What people tell you they get or would like to get and what they get are three different things on this board. One mans commercial job is another mans chicken feed.
As long as your paying the bills, earning a good wage and making a profit thats all that matters.
