Hi, does any one know how to stop a di chamber from leaking completely??
Just changed the resin, and screwed up tight but wont stop trickling when in use. tried that white tape but still trickling
any advice???

the top of chamber shouldn't need ptfe plumbers tape surely? I had awful trouble with the inlet and outlet dripping, had to change connectors and use practically whole.roll of tape on each.
not dirty/cross threaded?

Make sure that there is no resin in the thread before screwing it down. If it is clean is shouldn't leak at all.
-
Changed my resin today and the vessel is fine-no leaks at all- I always make sure I rinse everything down with a bit of pure water when I empty and then again when put top back on - in/out has plenty of ptfe tape but has never caused me trouble

check the o ring is clean and un damaged

Mine drips from the hose connectors always has... It runs down on to the center chamber making it seem like it's this leaking but it's not.. Let us no if you manage to stop it and how matey.

have you tried replacing the connectors? mine didn't seem to be able to screw far enough in, took a whole load of ptfe tape to stop it. a constant leak (esp if in van) won't do it any gud me thinks!

Hozelock is ok, but the "o" rings wear out fairly quickly, especially on the reel. I have a bag of "o" rings in the van all the time and just put a new one on when I need it.

They seem to be either very good, or very bad! im still on the original hozelock i put on the hose reels, but my inlet for the water needed changing after a couple of weeks!
That being said, i imagine its not leaking from that part of the connector is it Avo? Is it leaking from the thread?

Gonna look into this tomoro morning yes it's as llaaww suggested the rubber O ring it would seem.. Even my wf trolley system seems to drip properly dose my headin at times comes from the hozelock again.. So you think it's the O rings on the male into the hozelock????

Mine has leaked since I got it 2 years ago. It stands inside a bucket inside my van to catch the water. WCW did replace two tops but thing still leaked so I gave up in the end!!!
-
just buy gardiners connectors bit pricey
but not more leeks ;D

Regarding the thread on the lid, just put a line of fairy round the rim, this seals any airlocks you might have a stop leaking out of the lid :)
