just wondering if anyone has bought in ready made list of data of facilities managers to help with their marketing its around 400quid for 2000 in the uk
-
I use somebody Rich if you want their details, but unless you specify area codes or post codes they will be up and down the country, if you were looking for UK wide. If your going to buy data in I think I would concentrate on whats local first... maybe smaller.... But once they add up - all cash.
-
hiya kate that would be brill thanks
-
Sent you a mail Rich
-
Rich, do you have someone in the office to chase the leads?
-
Its about building pipelines, you start of with data, which is pretty blank. Make the calls, log the notes and ring back when appropriate. Although immediately might not be the right time, in 2/6 months it might be, but your are kind of building your own contact list, I just log things red, green etc. Send PDF's, you start building relations with people....
-
we were building up a database with pipeline before the break in but they robbed the back up we had too!!! althought it wasnt something we had been doing full time it had grown to fair size.
-
Hi Cath would it be possible for you to forward me the same details please , would be most grateful , thank you
-
has anyone ever bought in data lists of facilities manager
Is that to help build up the new traditional round, open up the cleaning supply shop, or setup carpet cleaning?
Just kidding :)
Seriously though, you should just concentrate on one thing and do it well.

no thought against the idea we dont do a great deal of pressure washing n thought it may have been a good idea to build up that side of business but when considered its not financially viable

the idea of the traditional round is to help build up the business without the major cost that wfp involves and build up a small round that we clean more regularly say 3-4 weeks so that were not havin to canvass as much for wfp maybe looking at gettin 450 customers on at 6-7quid
when time is right it can always be converted to wfp with price increases like many other cleaners on here do
cleaning supplies shop is in the pipeline been speaking to loadsa suppliers etc and were looking to begin gettin stock in in march time to start with and expand the product lines in time, with more and more window cleaners converting to wfp there will be a large market for
carpet cleaning is a no go at min
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

it isn't free though, she is just passing on a contact detail for someone who will sell the data at a price, I wonder if so many will want the details now
-
People buy data everyday, its part of marketing - they sell the same lists over and over. Suppose depends on what you want to target, facilities managers I would imagine are used to being bombarded from every industry, every day. Myself, just my own opinion, would concentrate locally first - tie up the ones that decisions are made at local level. Might be smaller but still work. I think we all probably know how difficult the process is with dealing with large corps. Im just passing on the guy that I use, older the data, cheaper it is. If you want email addies, employee numbers, etc etc and newer it gets dearer.
-
hi cath would you send me the details too it would be so appreciated
-
Sure if you send me an email, Im just recommending the guy because hes reasonable and helpful.
-
I know kate I was guessing a few thought it was free, just pointing it out to them, that was all, then again I shouldn't presume maybe they all knew they would have to pay
-
Stu no probs, there is a way of building your own database and checking numbers. But buying data if you want facilities management the data house has done the calls, to get these names. You could for sure do it yourself. Personally Ive never asked for that criteria. Ive more dealt with business on a local level. You could whizz round the calls yourself. But for the sake of them providing probably quite alot of numbers with names and email addresses, it just takes the hassle out of it. If you were to build your own database, and be on the safe side with regards to calling TPS numbers, you would have to sign up to a company like marketingfile, who for £20 you can check upto 2000 numbers.
