Post by: New Guy on November 30, 2005, 11:21:38 pm
I have a brush with two jets in the head and these only fire out two narrow water jets.

I've found the brass jets need to be pushed out backwards - why oh why do they fit them??? - anyway - if you're really stuck you can drill them out and use the nozzles from cleantech as they're bigger with a fan thingy on them and oh yeah they're a lot better, plus save loads of time rinsing.  Think they cost bout £4 each all in.

i use same vikan brushes and have sourced some lovely jets from those dudes at cleantech! i make them up myself and they spray across the whole length of the brush and dont use loads of water. being made from stainless they dont snap in the cold or when dropped and will probably outlast the brush.they cost about 99p each.

What you want to ask for is two 6mm bulkhead connectors and two jets.  The bulkhead connectors are 6mm push-fits, so unless you have the 6mm pipe you would also need to get some pipe and a t' connector to join the two pieces of pipe together.  Then you need an adapter that will go from the 6mm T to what ever pipe size supplies your brush.  All you have to do then is drill two holes in your brush a mm smaller than the outside diameter of your bulkhead connectors, and screw them in.  Connect up your bulkheads with your T using the 6mm pipe, fit the adapter and that's it, a brush with fan sprays.
