Hi All,

Does anyone here use an 0800 number when advertising, and if so does it seem to attract more calls?

Depends what work you are aiming for.

Local?  Then No.  Local people like a code they recognise.

National?  OK.  People expect a free number if they are dealing with a national company.

Just my opinion

Yes we have 0800 numbers and we cover the northwest area`s and i think it does attract more calls people want free calls free quotes etc,if your only local just simply put both numbers in your ads then they can be attracted by your free phone no and also see that you are local ;D.
