Title: Procedure for vetting cleaners

Has anyone been asked to supply information regarding the vetting of cleaners used in cleaning of private nursery schools. Any helpful direction would be appreciated.

We recently quoted (unsuccessfully :() for one of these. When I met the owner for the survey she said that in light of the events at Soham, that the procedures had been tightened even further. Previously people not in direct contact with children didn't need CRB clearance but now everybody and anybody involved does need an enhanced disclosure. The only good thing was that we wouldn't have had to pay but I can't remember who she said would pay for it.

But never got it so never found out any more.
