Hi,
I do not do much carpet cleaning but I know someone who has hair dye on a carpet , how do they get it out?

A large rug will do the trick :o

Hair dye is difficult to remove with affecting the original colour of the carpet. However dilute hydrogen peroxide is the best. You know it its what hair dressers use to bleach womens hair. Start ver weak 2 % and increase the strength. Extract out each time but take care not to affect the ground shade.

Thanks rodcope

You could just retuft it :P
Depending on size of course

Depends what type of hair dye. Once came completely out with a dry solvent (loads of spots all over the landing). More often nothing shifts it.

Except RETUFTING can anyone here me ???

Pardon!! What did you say Nick?!! ;D ;D ;D

Maybe i should start a retufting course!! seems a good idea another string to ones bow perhaps? ;)

Nick,
Do you use your darts to retuft and if so would an average player like myself be any good at it?
Cheers
