Due to changes of personnel on the steering committee, the proposed open forum meeting at the BWCA on Friday 2nd December has been cancelled.
Craig Mawlam and Frazer Venters have stepped down as members and the existing committee would like to thank them both for their input and hard work over the past weeks.
The existing committee members will meet separately on Friday to discuss membership benefits, as this will be the main priority for the PWCA. We take this opportunity to invite enthusiastic, hardworking potential committee members to email David Morris for an invitation to this meeting.

Rest assured that the outcome of the meeting will be posted as soon as practical. This is unlikely to be Friday evening as we all have long journeys home.

Glyn,
It might be an idea to post where it is going to be held - that way you will avoid this question being emailed to David directly.
Sarah
Oh and I forgot.......and because others will want to know as well......
What were their reasons for stepping down ?
-
HI Sarah,
The meeting might be held in Dorset, but this is yet to be confirmed.
It would be unprofessional for us to comment on the reasons why Craig & Frazer stepped down. The important issue is the PWCA is still alive and moving forward.
I would like to say though, we have two committee members traveling all the way from Scotland, this is a 760 mile round trip for them and we would really be interested in applicants who wish to apply for a place on the committee to show the same kind of commitment.
Many Thanks
Andrew

Just to state as it appears that I wasnt clear in my previous statement this meeting will be for Commitee members and prospective commitee members only.
We need to iron out issues that have arisen and discuss member benifits as a commitee. Many of the issues will be of an administrative nature only, so it will be of no benifit for prospective "normal" members, and bore most normal people ;D
Is that any clearer
Iam not sure myself ???

hmmm you wont have many prospective members if they need to be normal :-\
-
Well that's it then.
I'm bored already.

Thanks for your reply Andrew.
I am sure any prospective committee members will understand the levels of dedication involved before they apply for an invitation to attend.
Glyn,
I think your initial statement made it quite clear the meeting was for potential committee members and not for association membership.

I thought so too, but I got some PMs from prospective members,so I needed to reiterate.
