Title: Fogwash help please
Post by: Total shine cleaning services on November 16, 2011, 11:22:39 am
Hi guys
Just plumbed my fog wash in and have messed about with settings for a while and got hot water now.
Only problem I have is when I turn the water off at the pole it takes my shurflo pump about 30-40 seconds to back pressure then stop but the fogwash don't like this and over pressurises and blows the water out hozelock plastic connector off causing damage to it-any ideas- my only thought is to keep pole on window to window and speed up

Get rid of your hose lock connectors on the hot out of the heater and use a washing machine hose.

Thanks lads I have adjusted the Allen bolt on top of the pump after some advice from Peter and the team and have fitted a brass connector to the water out-the washing machine hose could be an idea

Roy do you connect the washing machine hose straight to you hose reel? only i tried that and the hose just knotted up when the hose reel was going round,

I could not get on with the washing machine hose but got 1/2" radiator hose from the local car spares place.
Works fine.
