Ive just had a customer who had spilled some fish onto her car boot carpet. I have cleaned with contract deodoriser and smell did. It seem to be gone. I told her to ventilate as much as she can. Anyone knows how to get rid of the fish smell?

New boot carpet

Not sure, but I don't think so, few years Landrover.
-
Think he meant get a new carpet for the boot. :)
-
spill some chip fat in there as well, sprinkle some salt and vinager!!!!
Everybody loves the smell of fish and chips!!!!! yum yum yum!! ;D ;D ;D

Cleensan, might be best to remove carpet, soak it well & agitate, leave for approx 30 mins, then rinse thoughly, leave hangin up to dry.
Best of luck with getting rid of that smell........small jar of charcoal placed in boot.....charcoal absorbs the smell....might have to be in there permantly. ;D

If it seems to be gone, what's the problem??
-
Something fishy going on ere
-
put loads of bi carbonate of soda on it and leave it overnight then hoover, it absorbs the smell after a while also a cut in half onion
-
Just ventilating is not enough she needs to hyperventilate. ;D

Try Natures Miracle,
Its an enzymatic spray, you can get it from pets at home or similar places or off the internet, we have used it succesfully when we cleaned a pub where someone had rammed prawns & mussels down the back of fixed seating, it did the trick with plenty of ventilation afterwards.

Try the cleansan and then, if you're sure that it's clean, an ozone generator.

None of the above will solve it.
A shock Ozone machine will though ;)
