Just WTF had been going on there :o
Nice one for taking that on and getting that result, I'd have been tempted to say "Get the fire started I'll bring it outside in a few minutes once I've cut it into small pieces."

After the 35 minute dwell, did you spray it again to wet the carpet a bit or just rinse once the pre-spray had dried out?

I don't think Neil would have allowed it to dry out, he's a pretty well seasoned carpet cleaner is our Neil.... :)

Heres a photo of the machine Colin used all of is set up cost under £600 and he does a good job time ,dwell and agitation is the key. to compensate for no heat and not a lot of power

Comment above i bet thats got a few TM users heads scratching lol but its true its all about the chemicals you use and agitation and dwell time nothing else. What you use to extract it with is irrelevant aslong as its got a bit of power.

looks really good. would you use this formula on wool? i have used PB before on wool but would never leave for 30-60 mins, normally 15 max before rinsing with F and F?? Brilliant results and something i will remember on my next minger!!

Im not reckless that carpet was f***ed so it took extreme measures. on wool i would tread carefully , but saying that ive never had one yellow yet badly soiled yes i would not to bad m/s
