if your 1/2 years into your business or more?
how many of you think it should always be part of your marketing and percentage time in a month you would spend doing it?
and what days or times?
thinking of getting back to a bit of it after sampling some magazine adverts only to find ive really been working to pay the advertisers

i am coming up on 3 years and i still knock at least once a month, but i am constantly trimming my round to dump crap
-
never do anything else just knock,i think its the cheapest and most efficient way to get business

I am 3 months into starting again from scratch, so am still knocking to try to fill in the gaps once I have exhausted my scheduled work. If I continue to make the same progress over the next 3 months I should have close to a full book.
The first 2 months were tough going (new country, new window cleaning culture) but I am beginning to find that word is getting around and that work is now beginning to find me. :)

been going 4yrs now and we've recently dropped/lost £5k of work, so my wife is canvassing again after a years break. very handy having her on board, while i clean a house, she knocks the street. and i can clean them straight away. shes got £170 of work in 2 days! which equates to £602 pa!
