Second image is of after it was painted to blend in with tiles to disguise.
Council got on their case to get it removed.
Spray paint and matt black used. Matt black being what they used to cover.
Anyone done a roof job like this before.
Would be our first should we get it. Plan on using AS10 although the tiles would clean too, client ok with that.

brave man thats a paint stripper yer... you will be blowing it everywhere ?? specailly that height pedestrians drift ??
Why not clean whole roof using hot only no chems should strip most of it then apply coloured coating to all the roof ..ching ching ;D ;D
We would have to have that gable end scafolded and screened to protect pedestrians cost a fortune ... for scaffloding alone! Hope the gyms got money ::)

I'd be happy using stripper but applied before rain that way there is little risk of the stripper becoming airbourne - wind direction would also have to be considered. A wall float with a vacuum port using hot would also be an option. I would personally say painting the roof would be a greater problem than the removal. This would be a good job for that contained blasting thingie that I can't remember its name but is bloody expensive and peddaled by omni

Yeh, ACS Tornado.
There's 2 flat roofs below the gutter from this. One is about 2.5m width and the other about 7m.
I'd use the mosmatic on heat but it hasn't got a vac port. Would be ideal.
If I was to use heat we would have to situate the van next to the building and lift up the hose as the burner is mounted on van.
Other option but with cold water would be to take up a PW on trolley up the elevator and suck from bin from their tap.
I'll have to stick a lad with the van to keep an eye on it while the doors are open.
Gonna be a long cat so I'm not surprised they've tied ladders together.

If you have to clean whole roof..... (assume u do as obviously will stick out like sore thumb again ;D) i would pass on job .... without sheeting / full scafolding... whatever fsc u use cutting in , would need turbo with traces of as10! thats face it the gym doesnt give a sh*t how u clean it pedestrians council no chance - well I am talking around here ... jump on us straight away esp as they are aware of it - how would u cover that risk / method - not exactly discreet location.
Coating ...easy cut in ridge by hand rest airless controlled pressure - looks like a raised gable + side sheeting protection via scafolding.
I thought you could hire Acs ?? maybe good option
Bdcs how can you be worried about small amounts of pigeon guano for hs, yet use paint stripper 3 stores up ?
ladder - Cat extending versions + extensions not tied together
Or pass it to a roofer replce tiles prob cheaper

Got the nod for this, they want the whole side of the roof cleaning with the understanding of that the tiles would clean up during the paint removal.

Pain as really mild at mo, but just not safe even with ropes ;D ;D this wk locally looks like wind is getting stronger!

Whilst I do similar services to yourself I have always thought its better to seperate the exterior stuff from the carpets as it gives the impression to some that you will be in their house with your wellies and pw. For £7/month its better to have another site for the cleaner side of things and its also easier to seo
