Draft marks can be very difficult if not impossible. Just say you will do your best but can't promise. Try white spirit on a towel and extract.

i find filter out is great with coal and soot marks but not so great with draught marks but i supose it all depends how long they have been there and the carpet type i would go along with what wynne says and dont promise anything but agree to try your best  :)

A good dry aggitation with brush then vac.

Spoon full of citrus gel in a 500ml spray bottle mixed with hot water
Advise customer they will come back in time as the air moves through the backing of the carpet.

A dry agitation will be difficult to do it...is too close to skirting board and if they are quite new..but thanks anyway for reply..

Is not about how small or big is the brush...is about that to brush next to skirting is not that easy...only if you have brush with lean pile...

I would use a combination of - Ultrapak renovate, and Stain pro, and Prochem citrus gel. Agittate in and clean with a smaller wand. Dab/rub dry with a towel.
Im sure with that combination most of the black marks will be out.

I tried Filter Out a few years ago, and it did nothing!

Handi-groom... I can't believe how few people use these or mention them ???

Perfect for getting along edges, not only on filtration soil but for getting moth larvae out as well ;)

Also groom stairs up nicely after cleaning ;)

Several years ago I invested in a crevice tool and when I come up against perimeter draught marks on light carpets I concentrate the prespray onto the edges more than normal. Where the aggitation machine does not reach the edge of the room we get a pile brush to aggitate in then extract with the crevice tool around the edges, after finishing wanding the room. It is a lot easier than getting on your hands and knees and it gives a superb result. The impression that it leaves the customer with is well worth the cost of the tool and the extra 2 or 3 minutes it adds to the time on each room. I have worked with many carpet cleaners but have not seen anybody else using one and find that fact surprising......... It is now something that my regulars take for granted.

Mike i had a brush like that and snapped the handle :'( so i cut it off flush drilled a hole and used an old saucepan handle with a butterfly nut to create any angle and save the back of my nuckles.

God knows where it is now if i find it might take it on dragons den ::) ;D
