Title: hot water hose
Post by: anderclean on November 08, 2011, 09:59:42 pm
had 2 of my hose partially melt on the hose reel, the hose that rarely comes of the reel if your 100 metres on.
water out the brush was hot - but you could still put your hand under it, so not that hot.
6 micro bore and a 8 micro bore one was stream line, think it was their age, both 4 years +, daily used.

What hose do you guys recommend for hot water please

thanks...

I've had brodex heavy duty for a while and they seem ok, but where the elbow comes out of the reel, the hose has turned black. I've also had issues with the paint melting off of the reel.

What temperatures do you have your water at.

Simon.

I did turn it up hot to try it out, don't know what temp. But very, very hot at brush -so must of been scorching entering the hose reel...
