I would be interested in this too as at the moment I use 1200 l a week with RO no metre, hoping to move back home where 80% of my work is {50 miles round trip} So travel expenses would be down but water on a meter  :o
Some say it costs around £5.00 to fill 1000ltr including waste down drain. Is that about right?
Cheers  :)

water usage interesting topic,   if you can do the job with top results use less water means less running costs like resy filters etc,  low water bills means more in your pocket,  less weight in van less wear an tears means money saved and lower fuel bills,

but is it worth it or not,

well chaps what do you think

Depends if higher flow means you work quicker and make more than it costs.

I used an average of about 5,400 litres a week over a one year period.  I've no idea how much went on the windows though as that includes RO waste.

that was my idea. but as most areas seem to have medium to low pressure, it would fill very slowly. I needed a booster pump too, so for the amount of water would save wouldn't be worth it. unless you were at a job for several hours, and had somewhere unnoticeable for the waste to go!
