Title: Booster pump?
Post by: sunshine windows on November 05, 2011, 06:00:35 pm
Would adding a booster pump make a difference in water production for me?

Pressure reading (from what I can remember) is around 50-60psi. I am using a 10" 300gpd RO with 2 x di vessels afterwards.

It doesn't currently produce anywhere near the 300gpd even though i've recently changed all the filters and membranes. I reckon it's producing around 500ltrs per day at the minute.

So if a booster pump would help then where's the best place to get one and what type should I go for.

Thanks in advance,
Lance

course it would, the system you got will run happy upto 120psi,the only problem you would get would be from the joints leaking under pressure

my old system ran for 300 years at 110psi, ;)

So what's the booster pump of choice for those that use them?

Cheers,
Lance
