How does you keep track of your incomes and expenses ?
Anyone use SAGE or is this a little OTT for our simple business ?

Last time I looked a terrible website, but good software. I've heard it recommended for personal/small business.

I use George to track rounds and payments.
But for accounts use this for 25yrs great simple but very power full break downs.

I use spreadsheets, databases and word processor files.
It seems a bit of a kludge until you've got it set up the way you want it but that is offset by having more flexibility to alter the layouts etc.
So higher maintenance but more flexibility. It really does depend what someone wants.

£ 19.99 + vat for self employed.
You sign in the system on his website. Just put the figures ( income ,expenses........)quite good.

Its a "her" actually who owns it she lives about 3 miles form me its a franchise basically with individual accountants. I didn't have a very good time with them i was employing at the time had to keep hassling for pay slips and things to be done all the time that i may as well of just done it myself. There on-line system is not really set up for window cleaners who have debts and get paid in a mixture of ways anyway.
