been cleaning for many years always enjoyed it picked rounds up for fun , but last 2 years not been the same no more picking rounds up , custys are not as loyal, too many cleaners on the same street , every one wanting to be a window cleaner just spoiling the industry as soon as economy picks up they will drop it like a hot brick but the damage is done prices falling like stones .

maybe your too expensive and dont do a good job? ;D ;D ;D ;D
i suppose it depends where your working.there is a lot more window cleaners about thats for sure but in general i find most of my customers very loyal and good solid payers.i seem to always have a steady trickle of new jobs/referrals all year round most weeks as well without canvassing/leafleting.

maybe i do a good job maybe not exspensive
maybe there is no work around and somebody cleans for pennies maybe

my window cleaning business has changed a lot its just got better and better over the last few years! ;D ;D ;D
due to wfp, sign written van, uniform, decent business cards/leaflets/windows cleaned today tickets plus pricing work better ive never had it so good!!
i pinch myself some days when i get up.really!
wfp is without doubt the best thing since the squeegee was invented!!! :D :D :D :D
add on work like conny roofs/fascia/soffit cleaning also comes in regularly.
if you ve got plenty of work what are you moaning about?count ya blessings mate!
best wishes

a few good results and your the best club in Manchester eh? (short term memory loss the thrashing you gave man u! :( )
there's loads and loads of window cleaners starting up around me too, but I'm lucky got great customer base, most wouldn't leave no matter how cheap someone undercut. only weakness is the wfp......a lot preferred traditional, and are grudgingly ok as they like us. plenty of work to go around tho, most sensible customers know ppl who go around undercutting won't last long. if they are that fickle good luck to em, better off rid! but then I'm fortunately in position where not scratting around for custys.
