CAN ANYBOBY EXPLAIN WHAT RO'd WATER IS CHEERS
-
its water with less impurities, measure in TDS (total disolved solids) ie limescale etc
-
RO= Reverse Osmosis
=water forced to go through membrane with very small holes so that the impurities are filtered out.
so water is purified (to almost 100% pure.)
after RO, DI (De-Ionisation) can be used to get water to 100%

Matt's got it in a nutshell. And so does Ben :)
TDS is measured in PPM.. that is.. parts per million.
Most good RO systems will remove 95% plus of the TDS. So if your water has a TDS of say 400 ( which mine always has.. at least :( ) you will get it down to 20 PPM by passing it through an RO. This is just an example to try and demonstrate what an RO does. ( Think of TDS as little particles floating in the water ) Its these particles that stain when the water dries. Pure water will not leave a stain so thats why we use it for WFP.
Hope this helps
