I HAVE NOTICED IN AN EARLIER POST OF SOMEONE WATER PROOFING THEIR VAN FLOOR WHAT CAN YOU USE ? HOW MUCH? AND WHERE DO YOU BUY IT THANKS DARREN

www.protectakote.co.uk
Have a look there. Its pretty easy to do yourself too.
-
is this applied to floor only or do you go to a certain height all round (how high)
-
not sure what most people do but we did floor & about 5 inches up sides. This seals the edge. Just make sure the surface is clean & dry.

thanks for that daff, not at the van stage yet still working from car boot only up and running 3 and a half weeks (traditional) but one day.....................cheers

Bother!!
This afternoon I've started waterproofing my own van floor, I meant to takea couple of before and after pics...But Tosh dragged me off to quaff 4 pints of Kronenberg :o
I'm using a fibreglass flooring kit, got from Peter F for £100 + vat.
More expensive than Protetakote but much harder wearing, but a lot cheaper than the speedliner option.
Messy, but something you can do yourself....don't half pong though!
Got to have time off tomorrow to do the topcoat, I'll post some pics, just wish I'd done a series of them now, ahh well....
