Hi All,
A silly question I know, but what do you all think is the best way to agitate pre-spray into the fabrics?

A good soft brush is easiest - horse hair is good.
Get a good one and it should last you for years. I use the big Chemspec one which is fine.

Depends how bad the soiling and your equipment.
Light soiling I use a carpet brush and 300-400psi.
Medium soiling i use a host machine north, south.
Heavy soiling i use the host machine north, south, east, west and extract. May need second prepsray and agitation.
For upholstery i use a soft brush or terry towels.

It depends on the fabric. Draylon lookalikes respond well to brushes, usually med. A good scource for brushes are horse tack shops. They have from soft pony face brushes with fine fibres ( I prefer these for most jobs as long as you dont mind a pink pony design in the blue pile. ) to 'dandy' brushes that will take the skin of the back of your hand, useful for stair treads. Mostly cheap at £2-£4.
For flat or smooth fabrics I use a round upholstery pad with a green stripe through. They are made of the same stuff as some floor pads. These are good for stair treads when charly padding.
Just watch out for tender fabric on the ends of the arms. Cover this with a couple of layers of net curtaining to prevent damage when agitating.
