Title: Thanx for the advice
Post by: mark_lane on November 19, 2005, 10:00:57 pm
Just like to say thank you for the advice given for van heaters, had a Eberspacher heater fitted monday by Woodbridge who did a great job fitting it for me ,what a great piece of kit,it is a bit pricey but worth every penny as anyone will tell you who has got one.The next time i'am in the dog house i know where i will be sleeping,as the van is warmer than the house right  now. ;D ;)

Hi Mark put a post out the other day asking about heaters, or the best way to stop the van freezing,

Doug suggested to look on ebay, the same heaters go for about £300 but would have to fit yourself, peice of cake mine should be here shortly

Local companys down this way want £1200 fitted new, how does this compare to what you paid at woodbridge

cheers James

Hi James
£699 +vat. They spent a whole day fitting it for me and only charged me 2 hours labour £65
which was really good of them.I have a renault trafic which has a pressurised fuel tank so they set me  up with a seperate fuel tank which works perfectly .I do not know anything about engineering so i would not have been confident enough to buy one off ebay and fit it myself but they are suppossed to be very reliable so buying second hand shouldn't be a problem,if you want any more advice let me know.
