hi sorry i haven't seen the post.i have delivered around 60k leaflets but not by royal mail.the leaflet looks like a royal mail card.the response hasn't been great, but ok.not many regular customers left out of it,but i managed to do a lot of gutters, conservatories and carpets which in the end was ok as it paid a few times over for the leaflets.
i just started the second batch of another 60 k a few weeks ago .they already delivered 10 k ,i think i just manged to book a few jobs which already covered for the expense of printing and delivering them.so like i said it's ok not great.
there is a lot of newcomers round my area, plus i'm a ''foreigner'' so some people just don't like that.
anyway i'll keep you post it

possibly because of other windies.the area is well covered ,but it's still work out there.i do put out leaflets to cover the gaps in my round which works.i probably got 20-30 regular customers left which isn't great, but like i said i had plenty of well paid one offs .
i tried everything .local magazines, dealership brochures, yell, google, website but for me leaflets bring most of the work.i would probably cut down on advertising such as yell and magazines as they don't pay for itself.

60k, thats a biggey !   if i was leaflettin on that scale in colchester id focus on the south only ,even  going down towards Chelmsford .  no doubt about it the farther south you work the better the money is

as it happens iv  1 job on the south side of town  ,its too far for me standing alone ,i could giv you it ,a bungalow + conserv at 12 quid every 4wks if thats ur sort of thing?

van d yke road . she already knows i find going that way awkward so what im going to do is tell her its beyond me now and that a mate can come instead. shes as good as gold, with a dropped foot ,and i will give her your number .   , sometimes she will ask for  insides doing and she defo wants the con roof doing but ive been delaying that as ive not had the energy by the time i go to her at the end of the day

just a little update.i've done some statistics over the work i've done for the 70 k leaflets that have been done since march.
so i've gained 61 regular customers that are done every 6 or 8 weeks for the value of £800,plus i also done one off for them in total of £1065.
and also just one off's in total of £3400.
so the results aren't bad (for me)especially i'm left with 61 regular customers that are still bringing regular income
