Title: Quick pre-filter question - advice please!

hi
I have two 10" pre-filters, sediment and carbon
bought some new ones online and they arrived yesterday, but the carbon one is different - it says Granular activated carbon filter and looks different but will fit in the housing, as apposed to the used one i have which is just a standard carbon block filter.
Any idea what the difference is??
can i use it instead?

I don't know the difference but I know you can use it - we do/have done for many years.

cheers for that - just wasnt sure if it would affect tds coming out
