Just got a quote for our insurance today, and they were wanting to know what percentage of work we did by wfp, and what percentage was the work regarding commercial and domestic. When i told them that 75% of our work was done by wfp she came up with a price for our renewal of £2600. This is employers insurance to cover 2 part time workers. As i have only just taken on these workers im shocked at the price they are quoting. Does this price sound to much,or am i not up to date with the current price hikes in insurance in the industry?

We use Axa for public and employers liability the cost is around £700 per year.
But the reason it was low was beacause a pecentage of our work is genral office cleaning.

i got a quote off of them 1 month ago for £1169.74. It was for 10 million EL and 5 million PL.
It was based on my wage bill being no more than £10 000 per year and 98% of work carried out from ground with other 2% upto 10 metres.
I thought this was excessive.
Seems not.

yes mark,
I think we got it a bit cheaper because over 50% of our income comes from evening office cleaning.
they are worth a look policy covers all tools and hired equipment, Damages and if we loose keys for propertys we clean.
