Title: What's best to lag my outside tank
Post by: Bushboy on October 26, 2011, 09:49:15 pm
Hi guys , just getting ready for winter , looking at insulating my 1000 litre tank
Out side ,

Looking at space blankets from bq & foam piping for the tap etc & putting some further stuffing behind the space blanket .

Space blankets is the stuff used in lofts ,

Also looking at aquarium heater for inside van & 1000
 litre outside .

Am I on the right tracks or should I being looking at other ways ,
 ;D

Get a 30000 watt element using the correct cable,

i tried 2 aquarium heaters , they did not even make the water luke warm,

Set the element on a timer for  4 or 5am , by 9am it will be nice and warm, and stay like that untill well after lunch.
